Vision
Our vision is to help you ensure that individuals with disabilities can fully participate in all aspects of society, including accessing public services, programs, and activities.
Why is this important?
In April 2024, the Department of Justice published a rule updating its regulations for Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The rule sets technical requirements for state and local governments to follow to make sure that their websites, mobile apps, and other digital tools used by state and local governments, including public K-12 schools, are accessible to everyone, especially people with disabilities.
State or local governments with a population of 50,000 or more persons: Compliance deadline: April 24, 2026
